Architecture in Eternal Kingdoms
In this guide, we'll discuss the key buildings in Eternal Kingdoms, excluding the Town Hall and Academy, as they are obviously the core of every city!
1) Town Hall Upgrades
Upgrading your Town Hall unlocks additional troop deployments and various game features.
2) Academy Upgrades
Upgrading the Academy provides military and economic buffs.
3) Trade Station
The Trade Station is crucial due to its tax rate. When upgraded to a higher level, the tax rate decreases to just 8%, allowing you to transfer up to 5 million resources simultaneously to allies at a 100% marching speed.
4) Granary
Many new players underestimate the value of the Granary in Eternal Kingdoms, especially in the early stages when resource storage is minimal. Upgrading the Granary protects more resources from being plundered by enemies. If you have a low-level Granary but a large resource stockpile, you will likely become the enemy’s primary target.
5) Scout Camp
This building allows you to scout. It not only helps clear fog and discover tribal villages or caves but also serves many other purposes. Scouting is vital in warfare, much like in real life—think of it as your espionage unit. Upgrading the Scout Camp enables you to conduct multiple scouting missions simultaneously and gain special abilities, such as increased marching speed and expanded exploration range.
Upgrading the Scout Camp is relatively inexpensive compared to other buildings in Eternal Kingdoms, but it requires significant time to complete. It’s advisable to upgrade it during events that require construction time.
6) Hospital
I almost forgot to mention the Hospital—how could I? The Hospital is crucial as it is the only place to house heavily wounded units in Eternal Kingdoms. When units are injured in battle, they are sent directly to the Hospital for treatment.
You can build up to four Hospitals and don’t need to upgrade them all at once; just upgrade them gradually. They should keep pace with the Town Hall level.
7) Tip: If you upgrade one Hospital, ensure to upgrade the others to the same level afterward.
The Hospital determines your combat effectiveness on the battlefield. If all your Hospitals are full, avoid fighting, as injured units will die immediately due to lack of space.
At maximum level, the Hospital even provides your army with an additional 1% HP.
Upgrading the Hospital significantly boosts your strength, making it a wise choice during events like Power Up.
8) City Walls
City Walls are one of the most important structures, especially in the mid to late game. This is where you station your commanders for defense. The City Walls serve as the first line of defense for your city. If enemies want to attack, they must breach the City Walls first.
Upgrading the City Walls increases their durability. They will start to burn if breached, and the durability will gradually decrease over time. When durability reaches zero, you will be randomly relocated.
While your city is on fire, you can extinguish it using some Gems.
That concludes my top five most important buildings in Eternal Kingdoms!
